1. How long does shipping take?
Processing: 1-3 business days. Shipping: 5-10 business days (contiguous US). Rice cookers may ship via freight with extended delivery times (7-15 business days). You'll receive tracking via email.

2. What are shipping costs?
Calculated at checkout based on weight/destination. Free standard shipping on orders over $[amount].

3. Do you ship outside the contiguous US?
Currently, only to the contiguous 48 states.

4. What types of electric rice cookers do you offer?
We offer standard rice cookers, multi-functional rice cookers, and pressure rice cookers (IH). All our rice cookers comply with UL 1026 (Standard for Electric Household Cooking and Food Serving Appliances), covering electrical safety, leakage current, dielectric strength, thermal protection, and mechanical hazards. They also meet FDA 21 CFR food contact safety standards for non-stick coatings (PFOA-free) and comply with California Proposition 65 where applicable.

5. What types of measuring cups do you offer?
We offer plastic, glass, and stainless steel measuring cups. All materials are FDA 21 CFR food contact compliant and BPA-free.

6. What types of measuring spoon sets do you offer?
We offer plastic, stainless steel, and magnetic measuring spoon sets. All materials are FDA 21 CFR food contact compliant and BPA-free. Sets include standard sizes (1/4 tsp, 1/2 tsp, 1 tsp, 1/2 tbsp, 1 tbsp).

7. Are your products safety certified?
Yes. All our products comply with:

  • Rice Cookers: UL 1026 certified, FDA food contact, FCC Part 15 (if digital display/wireless), California Prop 65

  • Measuring Cups & Spoons: FDA 21 CFR 177 (food contact materials)

8. What is UL 1026 certification?
UL 1026 is the U.S. safety standard for household electric cooking appliances, covering:

  • Electrical safety: Leakage current, dielectric withstand, grounding, strain relief

  • Mechanical safety: Stability, blade guarding, thermal protection

  • Construction: Material flammability (UL94), component ratings

  • Performance: Normal/abnormal operation tests, temperature rise limits

9. What is FDA food contact compliance?
Materials that contact food must meet FDA 21 CFR 175-178 requirements, including:

  • No migration of harmful substances into food

  • Resistance to cleaning agents and temperature changes

  • Non-absorbent surfaces for repeated use

10. Do your products contain BPA?
No. All plastic measuring cups and spoons are BPA-free and made from food-grade materials (polypropylene, Tritan, or SAN).

11. What is the FCC Part 15 requirement for rice cookers?
Rice cookers with digital displays, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or microcontrollers are classified as unintentional radiators under FCC Part 15 Subpart B. They must:

  • Be tested for radiated and conducted emissions at a qualified laboratory

  • Bear the FCC compliance marking (not an FCC ID)

  • Maintain a Declaration of Conformity on file

  • Include the compliance statement in the user manual

12. What is California Proposition 65?
California Prop 65 requires warnings on products containing chemicals known to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. When applicable, warnings are displayed on product pages and packaging.

13. How do I care for my rice cooker?

  • Unplug before cleaning. Wash removable parts (inner pot, lid, steam vent) with warm soapy water.

  • Wipe exterior with damp cloth; do not immerse base.

  • Do not use abrasive cleaners on non-stick coating.

  • Descale periodically if mineral buildup occurs.

14. How do I care for my measuring cups and spoons?

  • Plastic: Dishwasher safe (top rack). Avoid high heat.

  • Glass: Dishwasher safe; allow to cool before washing.

  • Stainless steel: Dishwasher safe.

  • Do not use bleach or abrasive cleaners.

15. What payment methods do you accept?
